It's for the Birds

Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project is a science organization that researches the endangered forest birds of Maui. We work to save these unique species.

On November 14th, 2009, we are having our first gala event, It's for the Birds. It will be at the Hui No'eau Visual Arts Center in Makawao, Maui.

There will be music by Halemanu and George Kahumoku, as well as a presentation by Jack Jeffrey, one of Hawaii's most well known conservationists and photographers.

Complimentary pupus, wine, and beer will be served. Guests will be invited to bid on a number of silent auction items as well.
