Lower East Side/Chinatown Green Business Summit

Featuring keynote speaker Borough President Scott M. Stringer, Ecoventions and the Asian American/Asian Research Institute (AAARI) are hosting The Lower East Side/Chinatown Green Business Summit on November 12, 2009 from 9 am - 4 pm.

This event includes an expo, keynote luncheon, and informative breakout sessions on Attainable, Measurable, Sustainable™ business practices.

We invite businesses in the Lower East Side and Chinatown to unanimously recognize that the “ground
has shifted” and that the hundreds of food retailers, garment and laundry businesses in tightly-packed
Chinatown and the ever expanding Lower East Side be part of a community led effort to implement and
ensure that sustainability is taking root in our values and becoming a unified common force.
