First, I joined this site about two weeks ago and there were about 600 members on it...Now there are over 730! I think it's great that the effort of going green is increasing drastically and the word on this great organization is growing...
With that being said, I wanted to talk about Energy Costs...When working for a company that helps reduce energy consumption you become very aware of energy costs in different parts of the country. For instance, for commercial use, the energy costs in the NYC area is roughly $0.22/kWh. And the national average for the United States is roughly $0.12/kWh.
What are the costs in the other parts of the country/world? I recently examined an Energy Bill from Thailand and learned their energy costs are less than $0.01 kWh!
