Recently I've been thinking, that if everyone takes a conscious effort to do something different each weekend that will help the environment, it will eventually catch on. Although recently I've taken an oath to go green, I'm still guilty of not being environmentally conscious all of the time.

One thing I am guilty of, that I plan on stopping this weekend is the use of plastic water bottles. With that being said, I'm going to start to fill up my water bottle and reduce my consumption of wasted plastic. What are you going to do this weekend to make the world a greener place?

If you live in a major metropolitan area, and are planning on going into the city, try leaving the car at home and taking the train. Given that automobile emissions have a deleterious effect on the environment, this is a great way to do one's part.
