a conversatino with Phil Stubbs of Sydney Greendrinks
Phil Stubbs is the founding member of the 6-person Organising Team of Sydney Greendrinks.
He also hosts a podcast called 'The Environment Show' (http://theenvironmentshow.com/), is an environmental journalist at local radio station 2SER, has a day job lecturing at the Sydney University of Technology, and finds time to get into the ocean almost every day.
Only 6 months after starting this event, over 150 people attend regularly. The creative team behind this event keeps things fresh by changing locations frequently, and having lots of fun together.
We caught Phil on the eve of the PowerShift conference, which he helped with and was attended by thousands of young people from all over Australia determined to show "where our generation demonstrates our power, asserts our power and directs our energy to force political change for a POWER SHIFT to a clean energy future."
